Hi! My name is Maria.
I am a User Interface designer. I create simple, beautiful and functional user interfaces.
My journey into design was a long one. Growing up in Siberia, surrounded by the majestic beauty of nature and unspoiled natural resources, I was always inspired to find out the why of things. That is why I decided to become a scientist. I spent several years between Russia and France doing research on climate change in Western Siberia.
After coming to the United States, I found my way to the design field and never looked back. I am always learning and growing, and this is very important for me. I love to use my analytical skills together with my passion for design to build digital experiences that meet users and business needs.
I have worked with small businesses and helped them make their ideas into reality. I also taught myself basic HTML and CSS, so I could better communicate with developers and understand the constraints of code.
Outside of design, I love kayaking, traveling, fishing and just spending time outdoors, it helps me to be open minded and see life from different perspectives.
